One of the most powerful ways children learn isn’t just by practicing skills on their own, it’s through sharing their work with others and receiving feedback in a supportive environment.  

Peer review and collaborative sharing have been shown to dramatically improve academic performance, communication skills, emotional resilience, and even intrinsic motivation.

Research has consistently shown that peer feedback encourages deeper learning and greater self-awareness in children.  

A large-scale study from the University of Cambridge (Topping, 2009) found that peer assessment in primary education significantly boosted students' critical thinking skills, while simultaneously enhancing their self-confidence and pride in their work.  

Similarly, a 2021 study in the Journal of Educational Psychology emphasized that when young learners participate in sharing their work and peer feedback, they show better long-term retention of concepts, stronger creative thinking, and improved emotional regulation.

Developing empathy and perspective-taking: Giving and receiving feedback helps children understand diverse viewpoints (Nicol & Macfarlane‐Dick, 2006).  

Strengthening critical evaluation skills: Children learn how to analyze their own work and others’ constructively.

According to a 2019 meta-analysis published in Educational Review, students who regularly shared their work with peers demonstrated higher academic achievement and greater persistence in tasks than those who learned in isolation.
